MaxMara
I think this is one of my favourite collections at MFW FW'12...the outerwear, with a military flavour, was just delicious! Also loved the stripes, the camel, and the hat...

Fendi
More amazing outerwear (my favourites were the blue/navy)

Marni
Even though several silhouettes appeared to be hard-to-wear, I loved these looks by Consuela:

Dolce & Gabbana
This seems like the 'odd one out' in this post, with all the lace, brocade, embroidery and heavy Sicilian influence:

oh Dolce, why don't I love you anymore? The runways just don't excite me like they used to. Maybe this is problem with styling/casting--these models are too boring looking. The Brazilian era needs to rise again!!
ReplyDeleteI like Max Mara, it's very Gaultier and Victoria Beckham at the airport circa 2008. lol!
Dolce&Gabbana never stop surprising me. What an amazing lady-like collection full of color and brochette .

Max Mara did some great & constant job here again. There isn't much surprise in all the collections, is it. Although it's always easy to wear & combine. You're right about the theme - it's gorgeous. I would like to go for the green or light grey pea coat/cabas jacket here. So brilliant!
ReplyDeleteI've seen by far better collections by Fendi. To my surprise I liked the Dolce & Gabbana (and I'm not a fan at all). Marni... No. Still a no here. From head to toe.
i like your blog, wld u like to follow each others?

Dolcce & Gabbana's collection is impressive. The color palette of white lace, basic black with antique gold embroidery and floral prints are very unique and magnificient !
