I'm back! Belated Merry Xmas and Happy New Year!

Apologies for going MIA once again, December surely did not disappoint in the hectic stakes, but it was great! It was filled with birthdays, family, food, Christmas and we welcomed 2015.

Also, in this week, I celebrated my 8th wedding anniversary (can you believe how time flies?!?). So I briefly donned my wedding dress to mark the occasion, and ate lots of yummy Japanese food after that...

In sad news, I lost my phone yesterday morning, and finally found it just now, across the street, out-of-action from having been run over by car(s) and drenched by the rain.  Goodness knows how I'll live without it, for one I can barely Instagram, and can no longer take photos with it! Oh, the horror!!!

Wore my red bow shoes this Christmas, last Christmas my Chloe Susanna boots were my 'Christmas shoes' ((available here and in black here and here)
Akira Isogawa wedding dress, Celine knot bracelet (from Departement Feminin) and Balenciaga Bow ring (from Matches Fashion)

Paris Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2011 Pt 15: Akira Isogawa

I really liked the ombré effect at Akira Isogawa's AW'11 collection, with light-as-air chiffons and embellishments aplenty:

Akira Isogawa Autumn/Winter 2010

Loved the cocoon shapes, embellished tulles, spiral shibori necklaces (I need one!) & rich beautiful fabrics at Akira's AW'10 collection:

Akira Isogawa Resort 2011

As you may already know, I am a huge fan of Akira Isogawa. I recently realized I never posted his Resort 2011 collection, and hastily came to amend this. From the nude & soft palette, to beautiful embroidery & beading, and the airiness of the tulle, Akira's Resort 2011 collection has a beautiful lightness to it, which lends itself beautiful to lots of layering. Many of the outfits below comprise of 3 or 4 separate pieces worn together, and tied in with a (or many) beautiful accessory, be it an embellished tulle scarf, a shibori necklace and/or cute brooches:
