Seafolly Goddess Maillot - Summer is around the corner!

This is the first one-piece swimsuit I have ever bought, and I am so glad I found it.  This swimsuit by Seafolly hides a multitude of sins whilst making me feel like a 50's pinup (not saying I look like one).  Now that the weather is finally warming up (and we invested in solar heating for our pool), I have been reaching this quite a bit the last week.  Hurray! Summer is around the corner!

Swimsuit: Seafolly Goddess Maillot (available at Anthropologie here), Sunglasses: Ray Ban Folding polarized Wayfarer (available here), Blush and brush: Nars Exhibit A and Yachiko brush, Dermalogica Matte Sunblock

Issue 8 of Peut-etre magazine is also around the corner, so watch this space!

Peut-être Magazine Issue 7 out now!

I've been a bit busy lately wrapping up Issue 7 of Peut-être Magazine, and today it launched online! It should be in stores shortly, and  I cannot wait to see them for myself at Selfridges in London and at the Colette store in Paris (and other stores too, especially since I'll be staying in the Marais area, filled with cute little bookstores - some which stock Peut-être Magazine) ! Can't believe I leave next week! Haven't packed yet!  Procrastination is my middle name.

You can view Issue 7 online here, or order your own copy here:

Beautiful 'sculptures' by Yiqing Yin
Beautiful shapes at Veronique Leroy - great hair and makeup too...

Veronique Leroy accessories - hand belts anyone?

Jean-Paul Lespagnard - brilliant Swarovski embellished accessories, including an award-winning eco-lamp.

Modern-Day Samurais at Dans La Vie

Jean-Paul Lespagnard - the 'maatje' (herring)

The kimono pieces at Dans La Vie were my favourite
The makeup and hair at Fam Irvoll was just gorgeous, cute clothes too!

I had lots of fun writing about Tsumori Chisato, probably my favourite collection in this issue.
Was so tempted to write: Pinchy! (for Simpsons fans, you'll know what I'm talking about), or the lyrics to 'Under the Sea' (from Little Mermaid).  But no, I refrained from doing so... (although not in my head)
The watercolour handpainted prints were my favourite...

PS. Don't forget I added more items to my 'store', which will be open for another 7 days or so.  I will reopen it and add further items when I get back from Europe.

PPS. Thanks for the orders so far.  I will be making a trip to the post office tomorrow.

Peut-être Magazine Issue 6 is out now!

Peut-être Issue 6 is out now and available online! You can also find it in stores such as Colette (Paris), and soon, around the world.  I am so excited about this issue, and as I wrote earlier, really enjoyed writing about the incredible French designer Adeline André, the Maison Sophie Hallette, Hermès' Petit h project, interviewing Peut-être's own founder, photographer and creative director Nathalie Malric and more...

You can view it online here, and here's a sneak preview of what you can find:

Exclusive photographs (and Polaroid shoot) with model Chris Arundel
Exclusive interview with French haute couture designer Adeline André.  I later turn the tables on Nathalie, to ask her about her experience walking the Haute Couture show for the designer herself.

Nathalie visited the incredible lace factory of Maison Sophie Hallette in Caudry (in Southern France), where the exquisite lace used by Erdem, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Elie Saab, Dolce & Gabbana (the list is almost endless) is made (oh, and the lace used for Kate Middleton's wedding gown too)
