Pink & Grey = one of my favourite colour combinations.
I wore this colour scheme on Monday, when pairing Diane Von Furstenberg's Hillevi silk polkadot grey dress with Stella McCartney's Fuschia Silk Pumps (didn't get time to take a picture before I headed out for dinner).
(www.style.com & www.firstview.com)
Tonight I wore the same colour combination to dinner & drinks, with quite a different resulting look (sorry my outfit pics are so bad, took them in a hurry, thankfully my shoes are much more photogenic):

Shoes: Dries Van Noten patent grey wedges FW'07
Socks: Men's Pierre Cardin grey socks (borrowed from hubby, as I realized I only own gym & plane socks, haha)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful dress! The material looks very very Dries Van Noten but I especially love the cut and the back detail-- perfect simple femininity, reminds me of something from a classic French design house.

I really like this combination of colors and I have to confess that one of the colorstories I have presented at the beginning of the season for the elegant theme, it was just dove gray and raspberry red , taking inspiration from the S/S fashion show of Marras
ReplyDeleteI love the pink and gray combination, the contrast of color is stunning! <3
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your comments, my dear, I received your second comment, just as I was about to update this morning! :)

oh my! grey and pink are the best colour combination ever! i would never have thought it, but since i am wearing more and more colour now i shall definitely have to try it. although i dont think i could do it as well as you, those pink stella shoes are just fabulous. what a stunning colour.
ReplyDeleteahhh you've really put me onto dries van noten. now everywhere i go i just love it, and i really really want it. it's the most annoying/amazing thing hahaha... i am obsessed at the moment with the striped blazer from SS 09 with teh gradiating stripes from thick to thin (french navy /white) and the blue and white checked shirt dress, slouchy and loose. both in poepke for matters of thousands of dollars. both going to have to hold it out until the sale hahahaha.
how are you? hope the weekend has been good.

I honestly never noticed those two colors went togethor so perfectly before. But then again, I'm the worse at combining colors. You look so stunning and the true meaning of effortless luxe. Actually reminds me of what Burberry has been doing this season. I really like this look.

ReplyDeletethank you for the comment, swap links? ;]
cute shoes!!!
ReplyDeletethe shirt took me days and days literally. You can't keep shredding for hours because it kind of wears down your fingers majorly so I think it's best to break it up into little periods every day. It really pays off though because it looks awesome when the whole back is shredded! :)
Gray & pink is my favorite color combination of all time too!
ReplyDeleteBisous,
La C.
