I received my copy of Vogue Australia yesterday, and was absolutely delighted to see the beautiful, lovely & talented Garance Dore featured on page 48. Garance's (almost) daily posts always make my day, either with her witty or humorous writing, beautiful photography, or gorgeous illustrations. Loved reading what Garance thought of Australia, our fashion, our style, and of her experiences here during her recent visit; just had to share these with you...

I loved these pages too! garance is incredible. I love that she likes lucas' paw paw ointment... The stuff is my saviour! she took the most beautiful pictures, I loved her Sydney shots. I loved her "just as chic as Parisians, but with bigger smiles and better tans" comment. perfect. really did make me look at Sydney in a different way! I open my eyes in the city now, it's crazy...

ReplyDeleteOversized lapels are a fantastic thing..love the idea of taking something classic like a vest and tweaking the proportions.
ReplyDeleteI love that garance dore shot of the girl with the surface to air wedges..it convinced me that I needed that pair of shoes in my life!

I love the Ksubi glasses she drew! I've been wanting a Karen Walker pair that has a similar shape... not sure if it's worth the investment though since no place here in Hawai'i sells them and I really wanna try it on my face first before I buy it! It's so hard for me to find sunglasses that fit well!
ReplyDeleteThat vest is so chic and I adore those streetstyle pics, especially the first one.
