Yasmin Le Bon Down Under

I was a huge fan of the real 'Supermodels' of the 90's: Claudia, Christy, Linda & Naomi. In fact, I still have in my possession two magazines titled 'Supermodels' dating back to 1993 or so (gee, 'saying this aloud' makes me feel so old). Amongst these Supermodels were also Kate Moss, Yasmeen Ghauri and Yasmin Le Bon (and so many others).

It is mindblowing how time flies...

Twelve months ago (and two weeks - I am very late in posting this) Lil J arrived in this world, turning it upside down (in a good yet crazy way).

These Melissa by Vivienne Westwood shoes are a present from my sister, aren't they too gorgeous for words?

Of course I made brigadeiros...and beijinhos de côco (the coconut/white ones)

It was a cupcake and tea party theme

So I made cupcakes, of course!


My sister painted this as a birthday present (in addition to those cute shoes) for Lil J

When I saw this skirt almost a year ago, it was too cute to resist, I kept it all this time waiting for her to fit into it, she wore it to her birthday party...

My aunt made the giant cupcake at the top - isn't it precious?
The white cake is my wedding cake - yes, I kept what wasn't eaten in my freezer (although being fruitcake I could have kept it outdoors)

And it was over all too soon...

Nautical stripes weren't just a hit in the SS'11 and FW'11 (New York, London, Milan and Paris) Fashion Weeks. They were represented well here Down Under during RAFW:
