My Indonesian Travel Diary Pt 1: en route to Nihiwatu - The Legian Bali

Please excuse the long silence once again, I just returned from a blissful trip to Indonesia, my first time ever in that country, and have lots to share.  I was going to do so in one post, but it became too image heavy, so I have split it into two parts (see Part 2 here).

My journey to Nihiwatu, located on Sumba Island in Indonesia, started with a stopover in Bali, where I stayed at The Legian Bali.  Having arrived late at night, I had a few hours to enjoy this beautiful place the morning before my flight out to Sumba Island.  Even though Bali itself is incredibly busy (especially since I arrived on a Saturday night), as soon as I entered the gates of The Legian Bali in Seminyak, I instantly felt removed from all the hubub in its lush and tranquil surroundings, and found a restful haven instead.

I wish I had more time to enjoy and photograph the beautiful room I stayed in, and the grounds of the hotel as well, but am thankful for my short and lovely stay at this place:

Beautiful view at breakfast, The Legian Bali's infinity pool and the sea...
Waffles, caramelized banana, mascarpone and mangosteen...A 2-course breakfast? Why not?
