Who IS Brigadeiro?

"Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening". (Coco Chanel)

Coffee hubby made me.

London (UK) - Rio de Janeiro (Brasil) - Sao Jose dos Campos (SP - Brasil) - Los Angeles (USA)- Cambridge (UK) - ADL (Australia)

My Top 3:
Favourite looks: Asian/Oriental (especially kimonos, LOVE them!), Drapey/Grecian (love, love, love) and Stripes (Nautical/French/Mariniere).
Favourite designers/labels: Dries Van Noten, Akira Isogawa, ooh...hard to pick a 3rd as I have so many and haven't figured out their 'ranking'...(Stella McCartney, Lanvin, Olivier Theyskens, Nicolas Ghesquiere, Chloe (but only in the Stella & Phoebe Philo days), Rodarte, Roksanda Illincic, Burberry Prorsum (especially Christopher Bailey's Spring 2005 collection), Bottega Veneta (divine), Vanessa Bruno) hm...I'll be here forever.
Fashion dislikes:  These may look gorgeous on others, but on me you will never see:  animal prints, fluoro colours (not even back in the 80's), and obvious logos/branding (once again, just not me).
Anyway, this is probably going to be the briefest of intro's, but there's no point boring the 1-2 people that'll read this. In a nutshell, I agree with Coco Chanel's quote above, and find beauty and fashion in everything we see, and absolutely LOVE it!

  1. Love this post - it's great reading other peoples 'top picks' and I agree wholehearted with the animal print thing. I love it on others but I just can work it least not in anything greater than the pair of Tiger ballet flats I own :)
Cute coffee, it's just too precious!

  2. Thanks miss_red! I love your 'take' on the 'top 3'! I should expand on mine, but honestly didn't think anyone would read it!

  3. i love the oriental look and grecian too

  4. Hi I am working on a Hannah Martin Jewellery project I would like to discuss with you, could you email me on.....
