Victoria Beckham
Posh Spice (sorry, I could not resist) loosened up her silhouette more than ever before, and pushed the draping in bright shades of saffron, magenta, and vermillion. Featuring curving seams that shape the torso, there were a pair of blouson minidresses, one in an iridescent honeycomb jacquard and another in a kingfisher blue matte gazar in cocooning shapes. A few outfits that looked like draped cashmere shawls belted over fitted pencil skirts were in fact trompe l'oeil dresses. This Fall/Winter 2011 collection also featured brilliantly tailored coats in structured wool, and stand-up buckled collars. My favourite piece of this collection is the simplest: the grey marle cocooned t-shirt dress:
Erin Fetherston
Erin Fetherston decided to start up a lower-priced line (ranging from $195 to $600). At such, she showcased a floaty frock in pleated chiffon with a tie neck, and a shimmering rose sack dress with flattering gathers and volume. My favourite looks were the tailored ones, especially the tailored blazer with diaphanous blouson sleeves (shown in both black & ivory); as well as the stunningly simple draped dresses:

Costello Tagliapietra
Simple, elegant draping is what this duo do best, and they stuck to their winning formula:

I have saved the best to last: fluid silk jersey draped off cool, geometric panels of leather; barely there mohair knit tops and mohair-lace detail. Loved the outerwear, in particular a cozy coat of gray felted wool with an oversize collar, and a fuzzy navy wool jacket draped in back, as well as the beautifully fluid floor-length coat (albeit impractical, as the models struggled walking in them). I gasped with delight at the series of evening dresses Doo.Ri Chung sent out at the end—cut bare, draped, and detailed with sexy 'webs' of macramé, they were breathtaking...
