When asked to described her style in 3 words, Miroslava used 'quirky eclectic experimental', it sure is, and she seems to have a ball doing so, with bold colours, Since having her now 2 year old son, she now appreciates flat shoes, hurray, good to see I'm not alone!

Since I am currently obsessed with this song, I thought I'd share it here.
Is anyone out there a 'Smash' fan? My sister told me about this TV show months ago, and being a huge musical fan, I couldn't wait to watch it for myself. Ever since watching the first season's finale, I promptly hopped on the computer and have been playing this song over and over. It is just so beautiful, the melody, the actor's voices, the choir, and the lyrics. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do:
What do you do when you’ve done all you can
And it seems like you can’t make it through
And what do you say when your friends turn away
You’re alone
Tell me what do you give
When you’ve given your all
And it seems like you can’tmake it through
Well you just standwhen there’s nothing left to do You just stand
Watch the Lord see you through
Yes after you’ve done all you can You just stand
Tell me what do you givewhen you’ve given your all and it seems like you can’tmake it through Well you just standwhen there’s nothing left to do You just stand
Watch the Lord see you through
Yes after you’ve done all you can You just stand
You stand and be sureand be not entangled in bondage again
Stand and endure
(God has a purpose) God has a plan
Tell me what do you dowhen you’ve done all you can and it seems like you can’t make it through Through the storm through the rain through the hurt and through the pain
I’ll hold on
I’ll be strong
God will step in
It won’t be long
After you’ve done all you can,you just stand

As you may know, I admitted early on that I am a humungous fan of stripes (especially a la marinière). Following on from the last Street Style post(s) on stripes being worn during Fashion Weeks, it was great seeing them again during the Spring/Summer 2013 Fashion Weeks:
One of my favourites to watch out for at the Fashion Weeks, Taylor didn't disappoint, with beautiful bold prints aplenty, the floral purple shirt is my favourite piece, am still trying to figure 'who it's by'...
Btw:
If you haven't already, don't forget to enter my $100 Shopbop Giftcard giveaway, entries close on the 29th of October, don't miss out!

Yes please! I also recently found out about Shopbop's blog, which includes some great styling tips (like how to wear peplums), I think I may just have to add it to my blogroll...

1) Leave a comment below
(you
can either include your email address in the comment or email me in
addition to your comment with your email address to: brigadeirosblog at

Woo hoo! Another 20% off discount code for Shopbop, just go to their website or click on the image below, and enter WEAREFAMILY at checkout. I'm off to see if my wishlist items are still there...
The new Blogger continues to exasperate me, and is seriously impeding my ability to post! I must be the only technically challenged blogger out there, and I am not usually that technically challenged! Anyway, I was already in awe of Yasmin Sewell's style, but am more so now that she is a new mom.
One of my favourite looks she wore is that billowy green blouse, absolutely stunning!
I was so happy to find this in my inbox, and just had to share it with you all...
Just click on the image below or go to Outnet and enter the code EXTRA20 at checkout, for 20% off any purchase! I just bought myself an Erdem blouse (similar to this one, I think I bought the last one in the different print) and a MiH Safari shirt I had in my 'shopping bag' this week (both items on my wishlist for weeks), woo hoo!
The new Blogger is still driving me nuts, apologies for the bad layout of the pics below. Apologies also for going MIA for so long. I have finally 'surface' from my work for Issue 5 of Peut-Etre, and am incredibly excited about it, can't wait to share more with you all when the time comes! At last...I get to post about Dries' SS'13 collection.
Plaid! Ok, so I must admit I am a big closet plaid fan...and Dries managed to make this mannish fabric so ultra feminine! Master of mixology, he mixed the prints up brilliantly! Some pieces I liked more for the fabric or print rather than the shape, and vice-versa. Needless to say, I absolutely LOVED this collection!
