Rachel Roy - Beautiful draping...

This is one of my current favourite outfits, having used it three times in the last month or so, as it is so easy to throw on and so comfortable...

Dress: Rachel Roy Viola wrap dress (looks much better on the model, of course) - am grateful for the stretchy waistband
Shoes: Christian Dior Extreme Python sandals
Bag
: Chloe lambskin bracelet bag

Bracelet: Tom Binns Faux Real

What first made me fall in love with Rachel Roy's designs were her beautiful drapey pieces...Her debut Spring/Summer 2007 collection of hers is still my favourite, especially the draped yellow strapless dress (which was my first purchase of hers):

Some other gorgeous pieces of hers I love...

  14. Ooo congrats on your "package" if it is what I'm guessing it is! How exciting!

All such lovely designs, it's an exquisite line. I think these kind of draping designs look great on everyone, although I think they look a little better on someone with a bit of curve to avoid the trap of being swallowed in all the billowy-ness.

  15. Thanks for the lovely comments everyone!

modediktat - haha, thx! The last green dress is the same one I'm wearing (except it was darkish when I took my photo, and I'm not as tall/thin as the model) :)

the little fashion treasury- hehe, thx! I have been dropping not-so-subtle hints, haven't I? :)

dallas shaw - I'm afraid this dress has sold out both at bergdorf and neiman marcus, it is a few seasons old, so not sure if you can find it anywhere anymore :(

My favourite pieces of hers in this group are in the colour I least wear: tomato red. I love the draped below the knee one, and the big bold flowered shift dress.
