Rosemount Australian Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2010 Part 1: Drape

Thank you all for your lovely words & well-wishes! I am now back home, and absolutely smitten with little Brigadeiro. Between feeding, burping & changing her, I have finally had the chance to catch up on the RAFW SS'10, w
hich showed in Sydney around the time lil J was born. And what a fantastic RAFW it was! Beautiful draping, painterly prints, soft palettes, gorgeous covetable & wearable pieces aplenty...Here are some of my favourites:

Camilla & Marc

Loved the soft colours (plain and print), and of course...the draping:

Kirrily Johnston

Loved the slight tribal feel to these designs, and the moroccan tassle worn with the long white gown (I don't know the actual name for it, but my sister, who was recently in Marrakesh, saw it hanging on a wall, and bought one to be worn as a neckpiece as well (the seller was puzzled as to why she would not purchase the pair, as it is usually sold).

Gary Bigeni

I absolutely loved the minimalist feel & palette of these designs...
