Reunited (with my Chloe Susanna(s) boots), and it feels so good...

They say absence makes the heart grow fonder. If it is at all possible, I am even 'fonder' of my Chloe Susanna boots having left them at the cobbler for a week to have their soles protected (better late than never). After picking them up all polished and gleaming this weekend, I couldn't wait to put them back on.

Chloe Susanna boots in red are available here, and here, and in black herehere, and here.  Net-a-Porter has them in black with gold studs here and with silver studs here.
I am trying hard to resist the blush/nude pair.  At first I didn't like them (I thought the gold studs are what 'made' the boot), but am thinking how versatile these'd be for summery outfits, and good when worn with bare legs...

Wore my red pair with a Camilla&Marc black wool-jersey 'tuxedo' mini dress I've had for years (maybe 7+)
It is about time I share pics of my other 'nappy' bag, my Balenciaga Courier in Anthracite, a (slightly) smaller version of my Extra Courier bag I use almost every day.  I don't know why, but Balenciaga no longer makes this size (and it was so popular!).

You can find the  Courier in dark cobalt here, and in pale grey here (the bag looks so weird on the model! It slouches much more, and looks more like this when worn), and mauve here

I am so so happy I found these bags, they make a perfect 'nappy' bag, and the extra courier in particular is great as a travel bag.  They're light, roomy, and importantly for me, sling across the body beautifully...

  1. Eeeeek I got a pair of these boots in the blush colourway! I was just wondering where you took yours to be TOPY'ed? I use either one of the cobblers in the Adelaide Arcade for all my shoe maintenance and repair needs, but was wondering who else there is that is reputable. Like you I'm not sure that I will be able to part with these shoes once it's time to TOPY :)

  2. Ooh, I nearly bought the blush Chloe's before I left, and am regretting not having done so, after seeing them IRL when I was in London/Paris! To answer your question, I take my shoes to Roberto's, off The Parade, Norwood. Roberto himself was amazing, but retired and sold his business late last year. I figured he wouldn't have sold his business to just anyone, and have been quite pleased with his 'successor'. HTH! xx

    1. Thanks for your reply... I'm wearing them today and I love them! Although they do need some stretching in the width as they are quite narrow.
Ah, I was hoping you go somewhere in our neck of the woods ;) I might stick to the adelaide arcade cobblers as they are quite good too (and convenient given I work in the city) x
