Haute Couture Fall 2011 Pt 3: Giambattista Valli, Valentino, Elie Saab & Jean Paul Gaultier


Giambattista Valli

This is probably my favourite collection of Haute Couture Fall 2011: the incredible detailing, textures and shapes, the gorgeous coral pink and red amidst the black and white palette, the easy-to-wear draped dresses...all made for one beautiful collection:

















Valentino

The red dress is so simple yet so striking...



Elie Saab

Elie Saab sticks to his winning formula, with plenty of red-carpet dresses, all with a light-as-air feeling to them, and some shorter frocks too, some which I think would suit Carey Mulligan and Kirsten Dunst beautifully:












Jean Paul Gaultier

This feel odd to include with the designers above, but JPG had some great pieces in his collection, once I could look past some distracting factors:
