Happy (belated) New Year everyone! I'm back!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Photo taken at the amazing Open-Air museum in Gora, Hakone (Japan)

Thank you so much for your lovely comments and blog visits while I was away in Japan! I had intended to prepare more scheduled posts before I left, but sadly, ran out of time, so apologies for the long gap between my last post and this one.

I had such a fantastic time in Japan, I cannot wait to share about my trip and some of my 2000+ photos (I will try not to bore you too much with them). I did manage to do most of what I hoped to do/see/buy in Japan. Thank you so much for your tips, recommendations and well-wishes. Hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and New Year's!

As I just got back, and am returning to 'normal' life (boo hoo, work), I hope it won't be long until I am back in the swing of things...

xoxo

  3. The Photodiarist - Oh, you SO should! Japan is absolutely amazing! I will try to make my posts informative, and I will be SO SO jealous if you go for the Sakura/Cherry Blossom season, as that would be such a dream for me, and I could live vicariously through your stunning photos! :) (I believe that is around March sometime...)

    stefanie - Thanks!

  14. Hi! I have a sort of stupid question for you. I see that you have a lot of stella McCartney shoes and I was just wondering if they were true to size. I usually wear about a 38.5 or a 39. Would I be safe to buy a 38.5?

  18. Thanks for the sweet welcome back wishes everyone! :) I will try to work on my next post ASAP.

Maria - not a silly question at all! I used to think Stella McCartney shoes always ran true to size, but have found that certain styles run small, so it really depends on the shoe. I am usually a 38, and most of Stella's shoes I have are in that size, but I do have 2-3 pairs of 38.5. So I think that most of the time you should be fine in your usual size ;) Hope that helps, and good luck!

  20. Ahhhhh- I really really want to go to Japan. I'm so bummed that my trip to Thailand got cut short, and so I didn't really have time to check out Tokyo. I think the country merits its own trip, though. Can't wait to see your reports!!! xx
