John Galliano
The Christian Dior collection pales in comparison with this one, in my humble opinion. John Galliano reinterprets the 1930's so beautifully, and makes it so wearable for now:

Louis Vuitton
The music, the stage, the porters, the elevators and the whole concept: absolutely brilliant!

Elie Saab
Glamorous gowns as expected, but also some simple monochromed outfits and separates that are 'pret-a-porter':

Marc Jacobs' aesthetic is a little too "cluttered" for me, but I can see some stand outs like the corset belts and the navy ribbed coat. I like the 1st and 3rd looks especially @ Saab. I can imagine a Helmut Newton woman in these clothes with the black pencil skirts and the slits up to there.
ReplyDeletegalliano's cream dress with the pink bows in the back. love it.
ReplyDeleteWhat is happening to Marc? I am not loving Marc Jacobs or Louis Vuitton!
ReplyDeleteBut Elie Saab is doing alright!
